New Plan Administrator for 2024
The administration of the UC supplemental health plans is moving from Aflac to The Prudential Insurance Company of America (Prudential) starting Jan. 1, 2024.
Why the Change
We review our plan benefits annually to ensure we provide valuable coverage options. As a result of our most recent review, we decided to move to Prudential for administration of the supplemental health plans.
There will be no change in supplemental health plan premiums for 2024.
Current Supplemental Health Plan Members
Aflac will continue administering supplemental health plan claims for covered events that occur on or before Dec. 31, 2023. Written notice of 2023 claims must be submitted to Aflac within 20 days after the occurrence or commencement of any loss covered by the policy or as soon thereafter as is reasonably possible.
If you have any questions about your current plan(s), please contact Aflac toll-free at (800) 433-3036. Customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. PT.
